The easy life aint so easy for me.
Thank God I’m not workin in a factory
Piss life away if I could,
my mama always told me I would
At age 15 I was your average kid.
I got into trouble like the other ones did
I’d have a toke when I could,
but mama never quite understood
She must of told me a million times;
put down that stick before ya put out your eye
Clean underwear and a good attitude.
Do your homework and eat all your food
Off on my own I thought I’d give it a whack.
Thought someday that I would surely be back.
And I knew that I could.

At age 35 I got a 9-5 job.
I’m just your average every day slob
Go back to school if I could.

She got me out of so many jams
